Telephone Inquiries

Providers and clinical caregivers should provide the patient’s first and last name and the date of birth when phoning for an outpatient report, as well as the exact date when the test was performed.  Callers for reports on inpatients should provide the patient encounter number (a nine digit number) or medical record number and the patient’s first and last name and date of birth.  Providers or provider’s staff requesting sensitive results will result in a return call to the physician’s published office telephone number by the laboratory office staff.  Verbal test results will not be given to a patient.

To request a report, providers or their staff may call (717) 851-2511, option #2 seven days a week from 6:30am-10:30pm.
