Angela Darko

Angela Darko, M.D. received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1999 from Howard University, followed by a medical degree from University of Maryland, School of Medicine in 2005. She completed her residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2009. This was followed by a Cytopathology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts in 2010 and a fellowship in gastrointestinal pathology at Roger Williams Medical Center/Boston University Fellowship program in Rhode Island.

She is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with subspecialty certification in Cytopathology.

Prior to joining York Laboratory Associates in 2026, Dr. Darko served as a private practice pathologist in Rhode Island and Maryland for the last 15 years.
