Clinical Microbiology

The WellSpan Clinical Microbiology Laboratories at York Hospital and Gettysburg Hospital offer diagnostic testing in the areas of bacteriology, mycobacteriology, mycology, parasitology and virology. Testing in the department includes the detection, isolation, identification, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing for a variety of pathogenic microorganisms.
